I just read your column regarding the young lady conflicted.
Are you kidding me!
Let me break this down like you did your highness
1st answer don't tell your mom. This lady has been shamed into thinking she is less than a person and needs to confide in someone she feels that is close to her but you in your lack of wisdom shamed her again. Discussing your sexuality with someone you can trust and gain insight from is an important part of being a healthy productive member of society.
2nd answer do not have children was your response. Reread what she wrote. This young woman has self-race hate. A huge issue in her life. That requires her to under go many hours of therapy to help her understand why she has those feelings and how to deal with them. She said that she didn't want to have children but all you understood from that paragraph was that she was thinking of having kids. How sad and pathetic that you didn't even address her core issue.
3rd You answered you don't need a therapist to gain control of your life. Just focus on getting your GED dear and your life will fall into place.
Are you insane! Why am I asking that of course you are.
Your Highness, again reread the paragraph. She was sexuality assaulted as a child she needs professional help and you, you Dear Abby wannabe glossed over that fact. Like it wasn't even there. You steered the poor woman away from getting the help she so desperately is crying out for. There are many programs in the Cedar Valley area which could help this young woman at little or no cost. The GLBT community has several local and national help organizations that could also assist her.
As you turn on Fox News tonight rest your head on your 450 thread count pillow. Dont forget to say a prayer for this confused young girl but better yet say one for yourself for better understanding and wisdom.
It takes a strong person to ask for professional advice and counsel.
Shame on you! Oh yea I forgot I have some great theapist names I think would that would help you with that Goddess complex you have.
