(Waterloo) – Local charities will benefit this year from the Elite Chevy Dealers. Dealerships in Cedar Falls, Waterloo, Waverly, Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, Washington, La Porte City and Mount Vernon are providing Toys for Kids for local charities.

“Most organizations pick a charity to help at Christmas and we think that’s great. But this year we felt so many needed a hand that we decided to give to several. ” said Jay Opoien of Rydell Chevrolet in Waterloo.

“We are asking people in the Waterloo area to stop by the dealership and give whatever they can. New,  unwrapped toys will all be accepted.  We don’t think Chevrolet Dealers have ever come together before to serve the children of our local communities” said Jay Opoien.

The toy drive lasts until December 15th at which time we will gather up all that has been donated and deliver to the local charities.
